Y2Y is a transnational, cooperative network of over 260 organizations and individuals. The Y2Y initiative seeks to maintain and restore the natural diversity and cultural heritage of the Rocky Mountains, from the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem to the Yukon's Mackenzie Mountains.
The Y2Y network envisions an interconnected wildlands system of large core areas and secure corridors for terrestrial, aquatic, and avian species.
CPAWS-BC was associated with the early meetings that developed the Y2Y concept and is continuing to assist with delivering on the initiative.
CPAWS-BC has joined with Wildsight to promote the Flathead Wild Campaign . Although not directly related to the Y2Y campaign, protecting wildlife habitat in the Flathead Valley will contribute to the goals of Y2Y.
